Is Shopify Checkout down right now?

Shopify-hosted checkout availability and merchant purchase flows. The status indicator below comes from the public Checkout status feed, not from anonymous reports or independently tested endpoints.

Verify on the official Checkout status page ↗

When Shopify Checkout isn't working

Inspect the exact checkout error without completing a test purchase. An individual store, payment provider or extension may fail while Shopify checkout infrastructure remains operational.

What this page tracks

✓ WHAT YOU CAN TRUST

Signal, never speculation.

Most dashboards blur the line between what a provider said and what strangers reported. We refuse to.

01 / FIRST-PARTY↗

From the source.

Official status JSON, service-by-service component matching, incident metadata and visible fetch timestamps.

PROVIDER-REPORTED
02 / THE CROWD↗

From the people.

Recent, rate-limited reports offer another perspective. They never turn a green provider status red.

UNVERIFIED COMMUNITY
03 / THE UNKNOWN↗

Unknown is honest.

If a feed fails or a requested component is missing, we show what we don’t know. No invented uptime percentages.

Is this actual uptime monitoring? +

No. Signalroom reflects official vendor status feeds, with optional user reports separately. It does not continuously measure service endpoints or your personal availability.

Why is a service green when it fails for me? +

Provider health may exclude region-specific, account-specific, recent or unreported failures. Check your setup and the exact component on the provider's official page.

Can community reports trigger an official outage? +

No. Their volume and timing are displayed as unverified context, but only the provider's published status determines its official indicator.

How fresh is the data? +

The browser polls approximately every 90 seconds, while edge responses are normally cached for up to 75 seconds. The UI shows when each source was contacted and marks responses stale when their check timestamp ages beyond five minutes.

Do I need to register to report a problem? +

No account is required. Reporting must first be enabled by the site operator with Cloudflare D1 storage and abuse-prevention configuration. Only aggregated report counts are displayed.

NO DRAMA. JUST DATA.

Stay ahead of the outage.

Browse public status reports without creating an account. Saved services stay in this browser’s local storage.

When community reporting is configured, requests use an IP address temporarily to prevent duplicate reports; the reports table stores only a daily HMAC-derived pseudonymous identifier, service ID, report type and timestamp. No raw IP addresses or free-text complaints are saved in the reporting database. Cloudflare may independently process request data according to its platform policies.

Aggregated reports are displayed separately from official provider health. Reports expire after 48 hours and are deleted on subsequent report or community API activity; records may remain until that next request during a quiet period.

For accurate interpretation, the official status represents vendor-published data, not independently verified uptime. Read the source and check the relevant component before drawing conclusions.
